This exciting upgrade and renaming follows several very successful trenching campaigns over the past 12 months across the O&G and Renewables sectors. The most recent campaign covered a multiple array cable replacement scope on a European Offshore Windfarm.

Formerly know as UTV670, the system has received various upgrades throughout the 2023 season and utilises two 550hp surface-fed water pumps to supply its jetting sword. Consequently, this compact trencher operates with over 1100hp of Jetting power. This is achieved whilst maintaining a low deck footprint thanks to its compact size. To compliment its excellent size-to-jetting power ratio, the UTV1100 benefits from easy road transport, fast and efficient mobilisation, crane launch capability, and flexible deck layouts. Its surface fed pumps allows the asset to work from the shoreline down to water depths of 200msw. The UTV1100 can achieve 3m trenching depths for the variety of products including Telecoms, Power Cables, and Umbilicals (subject to soil conditions).
